Beginning of 2022 Austria became member of Euro NCAP. As part of this membership Austrian companies work together as Safety Labs Austria to provide future Euro NCAP testing services to make Cars safer. As part of Safety Labs Austria, ALP.Lab provides Euro NCAP Active Safety Tests. Therefore, a brand new test track has been built by partner Dr. Steffan Datentechnik (DSD). On September 7th, this new ADAS Proving Ground in the heart of Europe has officially opened: DSD ADAS Proving Ground Hofkirchen, Austria – The first test track in Austria to meet the strict Euro NCAP criteria.

The event, hosted by operator Dr. Steffan Datentechnik GmbH and testing partner ALP.Lab GmbH GmbH, was well attended and provided insights into the testing activities for automated driving systems.
