The Austrian test region ALP.Lab is the one-stop shop for testing of automated driving functions and whole vehicles.

 

The Austrian Light Vehicle Proving Region for Automated Driving (ALP.Lab) covers comprehensive testing opportunities on private and public test tracks. The in-house data management and data broker systems link the individual phases of our test chain covering ADAS/AD active safety test equipment, mobile HiL platforms, driving demonstrators and traffic monitoring systems. Our clients and customer network includes OEMs, TIER suppliers and many worldwide operating and leading technology companies.

 

Founded in 2017, the company operates from its headquarters in Graz, Austria. Our ADAS/AD testing team is located  at the test center proving ground in Allhaming, Austria.

ALP.Lab, Cepton and TE Connectivity are working on how to warn drivers of vulnerable road users (pedestrians, cyclists, etc.). In the joint proof-of-concept project “Periscope”, infrastructure sensors detected pedestrians and sent out a warning to approaching cars.
