ALP.Lab on the road – from Great Britain to Vietnam

Mobility is a global issue – and works in highly diverse ways, depending on geographic, cultural, economic and historical conditions. That’s why we always strive to look beyond our own horizons – and travel internationally in search of exciting technologies, relevant mobility issues, new solutions and interesting cooperation partners.

We regularly travel to Germany, where we are not only on the road at various test sites (e.g. Pferdsfeld or Lausitzring), but also visit relevant trade events. Most recently, we attended the SafetyWeek in Würzburg as well as the TestingEXPO and the Autonomous Vehicle Technology Expo in Stuttgart.

For further training in Active Safety Testing, our test engineers were recently in Barcelona, to work on upcoming Driver Status Monitoring testing capabilities with members from other NCAP Labs, while our data and simulation experts attended a specialist conference in London.

As part of a business delegation headed by Styrian Economic Minister Barbara Eibinger-Miedl, our managing directors explored opportunities for domestic markets in Vietnam – and were on the road in Hanoi, Hai Pongh and Ho Chi Min City.

In this respect, ALP.Lab sees itself as a technology scout – and brings new possibilities for the mobility of the future to Austria and enables direct access for domestic companies and research projects.
