UT4AD: Test participants wanted

As part of the research project “UT4AD”, automated driving functions in modern vehicles are examined for usability, trust and acceptance in real traffic. In the course of this, we are looking for test participants to try out new driver assistance systems in the Graz area in August/September 2022.

A trial lasts around 4 hours (incl. preparation, breaks, etc.), including 3 testdrives of 25 minutes each per participant and is remunerated with 40 euros. As part of the study, you will be asked to drive a modern vehicle in traffic and provide feedback on the use of driving assistance systems, such as lane departure warning, emergency brake assist or adaptive cruise control. While driving, your eye movements are monitored via eye tracking. A camera records when your hands are on the steering wheel. You will also be asked to complete a questionnaire or answer interview questions.

Please note that the following requirements must be met in order to participate:
– You have a B driving license
– You are between 25 and 55 years old
– You are an experienced driver with > 5.000 km / year
– You have only little previous experience with new driving assistance systems (cruise control is ok)
– You do not wear glasses (contact lenses are fine)
