A lot of data is generated especially in the area of “mobility”. Whether recorded by the vehicles themselves, by sensors along the motorway or by a corresponding app: mobility data makes a significant contribution to the development and evaluation of new mobility concepts and solutions. They form the basis for the use of new technological possibilities (e.g. virtual reality, big data analysis, etc.). Real-time traffic data help, for example, to digitally observe traffic flows and to control traffic in a targeted manner.
In addition to technical issues, issues of acceptance and data security also come into focus. Therefore, the Data Intelligence Offensive (DIO) starts part 2 of their interactive workshop series with the focus on mobility data and its use.
