We monitor real traffic including classification of road users for motion-flow analysis, before-after evaluation etc.

With our traffic monitoring systems, we monitor intersections and other complex traffic situations in real time to record precise data on vehicle movements, speeds and pedestrian flows.

High-tech sensor technologies and up-to-date object detection software.

We use fully GDPR-compliant sensor technologies, first and foremost state-of-the-art LiDAR sensors. These scan the surroundings with a laser beam – invisible to the human eye – to create a three-dimensional image of the environment. A sampling rate of approx. 20-30 hertz enables a dynamic representation of all movements.

Our service includes the selection of suitable hardware and software for the respective application, the installation of the same, calibration, data generation and the entire data preparation right through to the final data set.

Using sensor fusion, we generate seamless trajectories over hundreds of meters.

This is necessary to monitor longer or wider road sections, e.g. to compare the traffic before and after traffic calming measures.

If the dynamic traffic data is combined with a highly accurate map of the surrounding area (here the UHD map from our partner Joanneum Research), real-life scenarios can be simulated from any angle.
